Jewish Care Scotland provides vital care in the Scottish Jewish Community. In summary, it continues to:

Provides immediate support for those who cannot access care elsewhere; and

I was born, raised and educated in Glasgow, only leaving Glasgow after completing my PhD. My mother was widowed at the age of 32 and left to raise three sons on her own. I was the oldest at 6 whilst my two younger brothers were 4 years and 8 months respectively. This charity provided a vital lifeline to support our family at a time of severe family grief and financial distress. It went on to later offer further support and care to my mother when she entered residential care in her later years.
It is also appropriate that items made from Scottish whisky barrels should help a Scottish Jewish charity and for all these reasons I would wish to see this charity supported.
If you would like to receive something from www.whiskybarreljudaica.com please contact me to discuss the details of what you would like to receive, agree the donation to be made to this charity and to arrange collection or delivery. Once the charity has confirmed receipt of your donation and we have agreed delivery/collection I will make the necessary arrangements.
Please note that if you are outside the United Kingdom you may be liable for import and/or customs duty of the item requested. Unfortunately I am unable to advise on this.
The whisky barrel tray above was custom made and given, with the two whisky tasting glasses, to Jewish Care Scotland to partner a donated bottle of whisky. These were offered together as a prize in the JCS prize draw at the Trump Turnberry Golf Course Golf Day on 15 September 2022.
